Bridgeport Rescue Mission

Bridgeport Rescue Mission has invited our church to send a Prayer Team to the Great ThanksGiving Project event. We are looking to put together a group of about 5 – 6 people (or more!) to attend the event at Webster Bank Arena in Bridgeport and offer prayer with the recipients of the coats and Thanksgiving meal boxes. Our church’s assignment is Thursday, November 15 from 2:00 pm – 3:30 pm. We have a bit of a quick turn around on this and would need to know who is able to attend no later than the end of this coming week.

If you’re interested, please contact Tanya Lennon as soon as possible and by no later than Thursday, November 1. Tanya will be happy to get you registered and share more “logistics” of the day with you.

Questions: Tanya Lennon or Janice Allen

Our October Mini Mission is our coat drive for the Bridgeport Rescue Mission’s Great ThanksGiving Project.  We will be collecting new and gently used coats (kids and adults inall sizes). Other cold weather items like gloves, hats, scarves, etc. are welcome too.

Please place your items in the Mini Mission wagon by October 28. Check your closets for any coats you are no longer wearing to help us keep our neighbors in need warm this winter!
