Family Game Night and Spooner House sandwich making

Ham and Cheese sandwich

Please join us for Family Game Night and Sandwich Making for Spooner House on Saturday, May 18 from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. We are asking each family attending to please bring supplies to make 10 sandwiches (1 standard loaf of bread with 20 slices, 10 slices of thick cut deli meat of any variety, 10 slices of cheese of any variety). We’ll assemble the sandwiches together and then play some games. And don’t forget to bring your favorite game and snack to share.

Can’t make it to Family Game Night? You can also bring your completed sandwiches to church on Sunday, May 19. Sandwiches should have 1 thick cut slice of deli meat and 1 slice of cheese (no condiments) and be individually wrapped or bagged. Drop your sandwiches off in the refrigerator in the kitchen before the worship service.

Our goal this time is 75 sandwiches. Spooner House also has a current need for the following items that we will be collecting: Gallon size zipper bags, paper towels, toilet paper, trash bags (kitchen size 15 gallon and heavy duty 45 gallon), Canned chicken, and Canned tuna.

The sandwiches and other items collected will be brought to Spooner House on May 19 by our Youth Group who will be visiting the facility to learn more about it while serving dinner to the residents there. Thank you for supporting this effort to help Spooner House!

See you at game night!
