All who wish to attend should be aware of AND agree to these COVID Guidelines:

  • Wearing of face masks and social distanced seating and interaction are still required for all in-person gatherings.
    • Masks are mandatory regardless of your vaccination status.
    • Those with pre-existing conditions and not vaccinated are encouraged to attend our on-line Zoom service.
    • Those not comfortable with an in-person presence would be encouraged to attend our on-line Zoom service.
  • Hymns will be led by a small choir, masked (vaccinated) and pianist/organist.  Indoor singing will be allowed as long as all congregants wear an appropriate, tight-fitting mask.
  • At the end of the service, we will exit to the parking lot — there will be limited indoor fellowship/interaction. Socially distanced conversation will be possible under CDC outdoor guidelines.

While pre-registration is no longer required, we’ll continue to maintain a log of those in attendance.

** For anyone who cannot join us in our sanctuary for worship, we’ll continue to livestream our service via Zoom until further notice. To learn more about our live-stream Zoom Service, click here.  **

** NOTE:  We’ll continue to post Pastor Chuck’s sermons to be viewed at your convenience … to check out the archive,  click here.  **

Kevin – thanks for your question. We’re happy to report that we resumed in-person worship services at UMC Monroe on May 16. Our service takes place Sunday mornings at 8:45 am with Pastor Ed/a Worship Leader in our sanctuary. All are welcome to attend under our COVID guidelines. For those who are not ready to return in person, the service will also be live-streamed via Zoom. We’ll post the recording in the “Sermons” section of our website by the end of the day. It is our understanding that Long Hill UMC will follow the same model for their Sunday worship services at 10:30 am. I hope this answers your question – if not, please let me know. Kathy
