  • Help your family, friends, neighbors and community
  • Assist Monroe’s emergency services
  • Be part of a team of friends and neighbors

Friday, October 25 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday, October 26 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm
Friday, November 8 from 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Saturday, November 9 from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Graduation: Thursday, November 21 – time and location TBD

Monroe Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is about readiness, people helping people, rescuer safety and doing the greatest good for the greatest number,   CERT is a positive, realistic approach to emergency and disaster situations where residents will be on their own and their actions can make a difference.

CERT Training is a free 20-hour emergency preparedness course.  Upon completion you will receive a free preparedness/response backpack.

The training will teach you basic first aid, proper use of a fire extinguisher, leadership and organization skills, search and rescue techniques, how to effectively assist your family and neighbors.
