Bill Florin

Bill transferred his membership to our church when he and his family moved to Monroe in 2005. Since then, he has been active in leadership roles, events coordination, and adult education facilitation. He is a past Council Chair and is finishing a term as Stewardship Chair. Bill has led multiple adult book and Bible studies, and he is our coordinator for our church’s popular paper shredding fundraiser.

Bill is married to his wife, Carin, who is also a member, and they have raised their two teenage children in the United Methodist Church. He is a Certified Lay Servant in the church and is continuing studies to earn the Certified Lay Speaker and Minister credentials.

As a career development professional, Bill helps clients with their job searches. He also writes and delivers corporate learning and development programs for a leading training company in Connecticut.
