Carin is on a roll!

Carin loves cycling and has become skilled at repairing and maintaining bicycles.  She’s using her repair skills to refurbish donated bicycles for those in need and for those who just want to have some fun.  Over the last two years, Carin has prepared/repaired and delivered more than 60 bikes to a program run by Golden Hill United Methodist Church in Bridgeport. The giveaway is fueled by surrounding individuals and churches that donate bikes in need of repair or not wanted anymore.  Individuals and families receive their wheels regardless of their faith traditions — no one is turned away. Some of the donated bikes are used as transportation to work, school or for kids to just ride around the neighborhood. Carin reward comes when she sees the smiles and hears the stories of those receiving bikes. “There are a lot of great people out there!”
