2022 Souper Bowl of Caring
Thanks to everyone for their help in Tackling Hunger in our 2022 Souper Bowl of Caring!!! Your non-perishable food donations and monetary contributions will be split between Summerfield UMC After School Program, Bridgeport, and Spooner House in Shelton. AND since we put the game into overtime due to snow, it’s not too late to get into the game!!
Food items can still be left in the wagon through the end of the month and monetary contributions will be accepted, too! Checks made payable to UMC Monroe with Souper Bowl in memo line can be left in the plate or mailed to the office. Consider giving online at umcmonroe.org, clicking on the Souper Bowl tab on the home page OR text “UMCMONROE Soup” to 73256 using a mobile device.
Souper Bowl of Caring is Sunday, February 13!
Get ready to “Help Tackle Hunger” by bringing in your non-perishable food items (including healthy snacks) and leaving them in the wagon in the narthex. (If you forgot, it’s okay! We’ll extend to next week.) You can also drop off your spare change in the bucket nearby.
Monetary gifts: Our youth will be out with their soup pots out for your monetary contributions (cash or checks made payable to UMC Monroe with Souper Bowl in the memo line) — drop it in the collection plate or mail your check to the office. Give online through our website or by clicking here OR text: “UMCMONROE Soup” to 73256 using a mobile device (NOTE: there is a space between UMCMONROE and Soup).
Donations will be split between the Summerfield UMC After School Program and Spooner House in Shelton.
Thank you, in advance, for your consideration!
