Appalachian Service inspires Project “ASP”

ASP is a Christian ministry that inspires hope and service through volunteer home repair and replacement in Central Appalachia.  It is a home repair, ministry, making homes, warmer safer and dryer.  For anyone interested in finding out more about the project, an informational meeting will take place at Nichols UMCon Sunday, October 22 at 6:45 pm in their Fellowship Hall.

General information for planning purposes:

Participation:  Open to anyone high school age and up
Meeting Dates:  typically meets on the first Sunday of the month
Trip Dates:
  we’re requesting the week of June 22, 2024 but it could be the following week … still to be confirmed
Trip Location:  ASP services Kentucky, Tennessee, West Virginia, Virginia, and North Carolina.  The group will not know the actual state they’ll be going to until later this year
Trip Cost:  $400 per youth and $200 per adult
