CROP Hunger Walk

We’re gearing up for the 2026 CROP Walk — join us for the 52nd Annual Greater Bridgeport CROP Hunger Walk!!

The United Methodist Church of Monroe has been actively participating since its inception +50 years ago – in fact the pastor and members of UMC Monroe were an integral part of bringing this event to the greater Bridgeport area.

Fun facts about this year’s event …

  • Sunday, May 3 beginning at 1:30 pm
  • Begins and ends at United Congregational Church of Bridgeport, 2200 North Avenue
  • The main route will be 2.2 miles, and a shorter one-mile option is available
  • We encourage everyone to please bring a non-perishable item to support our host, nOURish Bridgeport
  • We walk rain or shine!

If we work together, we can end world hunger. That’s why we’re participating in the CROP Hunger Walk to support CWS and help families who are struggling with hunger.  Please join us with your steps and your donations. Together we will provide more meals for the growing number of people in our community who need them and create greater food security in communities around the world.  Join our team, support our team with your prayers and gifts, and help end hunger, one step at a time!
