Reverend Charles Schif (his friends call him “Chuck”) was appointed to the United Methodist Church of Monroe on July, 2021. Chuck served as the Assistant Pastor and Director of Youth Ministry at Huntington United Methodist Church in Shelton prior to his appointment. In addition to his ministry, Pastor Chuck has an active secular career — he’s a “Software Engineer who found his true passion in serving God and wishes to honor that calling in whatever way God deems necessary.” He is currently a Business Systems Analyst for a technology company.
Chuck is an active participant in Footsteps in the Sand, a community of Christians from churches in this area that seeks to bring people closer to Jesus Christ. Footsteps’ mission is to foster spiritual renewal, develop leaders for the local church, and encourage Christian action.
Pastor Chuck lives in Shelton with his wife Patti and their dog, Tano. Their daughter, Bailey, is currently pursing her Masters in Clinical and Mental Health.
