Sheryl Rajpolt

“Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place”… Over her 25 years as part of the UMC-Monroe family, Sheryl has grown in her faith and has definitely seen the presence of the Lord in her own family and within and through the extended UMC Monroe church family.

During this time, Sheryl’s primary focus areas have been with three ministry teams: Worship (Sunday and special event services, music/choir, virtual services/tech team), Membership (welcoming new visitors, engaging current members, outreach/missions activities, stewardship), and Youth/Education (Sunday school, confirmation class, integrating youth into our services and missions) … and many times, these three areas overlap.

Sheryl’s husband, John, and two grown daughters, Amy and Michelle, are also very engaged with several UMC Monroe ministries, and the Rajpolt family appreciates being part of a close-knit, intergenerational church family.  Sheryl was named Council Chair in 2024 where she looks forward to teaming with missions and ministries across our UMC Monroe community and deepening her relationship with God and our church family.

When not involved with church activities, Sheryl enjoys hanging out with friends and family (especially pool side gatherings), music of all kinds, reading, staying active, and keeping up with her full time account management job in the high tech industry.
