Embark on a spiritual journey with us at UMC Monroe for a 4-part series of enlightening Bible studies, beginning Wednesday, February 26 from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm (see full schedule below). We will explore the origins of Lent and its significance as we prepare for Easter. During these gatherings, we’ll delve into the three Gospels that describe Jesus’s time and temptation in the wilderness.

Join us for a relaxed and informative study at 515 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe,. We look forward to seeing you there and sharing in this time of reflection and learning.

Footsteps in the Sand Community Gathering

Footsteps in the Sand wants to support you on your Christian journey.  We do that by holding monthly gatherings where you can recharge your spiritual batteries. For people who want to know more about Footsteps, a gathering is a good way to learn about our community and the weekend retreats we present.  It’s also a wonderful place see friends from the Footsteps Community.  There will be music, an inspiring story, followed by discussion, and communion.  These monthly events are open to all and are a great way for people to learn about our fellowship.

* Community Gathering:   Our March gathering will be held at the United Methdodist Church of Monroe, 515 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe.  Potluck at 6:00 pm with our program beginning at 7:00 pm.

Reminder:  Our Community Gatherings are held on the third Saturday of the month.  Please check back regularly as the location changes monthly.
