This year we’re again partnering with Golden Hill United Methodist Church to provide Christmas baskets for two families that we’ve adopted.  This program has been ongoing for +30 years and we’re excited to be a part of it!

Christmas wish lists for our two families are now posted outside the sanctuary.  Gifts and clothing (please include a gift receipt) need to be wrapped and labeled with the person’s name.  Wrapped gifts can be placed in the wagon; non-perishable food in the labeled boxes; gift cards in the large labeled envelopes.

To make a monetary donations (to purchase Stop and Shop gift cards, mittens/gloves for all/any remaining items not selected).:

  1. Cash or check (made payable to UMC Monroe with Christmas Basket in the memo line) can be dropped in the offering plate or mailed to the church office
  2. Online givingthrough our website — just look for the Christmas Baskets tab on our home page

The deadline to donate is Sunday, December 17.  You can drop off your donations on Sundays or Tuesday/Thursday (8:30 am to 12:30 pm) at the church office.  If you need to make other arrangements, please call the office at 203.268.8395.
