The lack of food for many in the Bridgeport area is astounding and we would like to assist Summerfield UMC’s Light on the Hill Food Pantry in stocking the shelves with non-perishable food items during July.
Suggested items: mac and cheese, pasta, spaghetti sauce, baked beans (for hot dogs), Knorr ready-mix rice packets, tuna fish, peanut butter (smooth), jelly
Donation(s) can be placed in/around the wagon in the Narthex or can be dropped off during church office hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays (8:30 am – 12:30 pm). The deadline for giving is the end of July — please keep this in mind as you do your shopping!
In addition to the non-perishable items, monetary contributions are also welcome.
