Our church family is working to memorialize Marilyn Jones, our beloved organist of 18 years who retired in 2016. Marilyn passed away on May 8, 2021. Her memorial service was held at United Methodist Church of Monroe on June 26, 2021.
Marilyn blessed us every Sunday with her gift of music, alternating between the organ and piano. Her commitment to her craft and the range of music she played — from classical sacred to contemporary — made it central to our worship. We want this to continue, and we need your help.
